Frequently asked questions

What does ViewMix do?

ViewMix records the front and back iPhone cameras at the same time, keeps both raw tracks, and lets you choose the layout afterward — picture-in-picture, split screen, or a single view — without re-recording. You can also take synchronized dual-camera photos, then export one composited MP4 to Photos.

Do I need an account?

No. ViewMix does not require registration. Projects, camera tracks, photos, and settings are stored locally on your device.

Does ViewMix collect analytics or track me?

No. ViewMix contains no ad SDKs, no third-party analytics trackers, and no cross-app tracking, and it collects no personal data. Recording, compositing, and exporting all happen on-device.

Which devices does ViewMix support?

ViewMix is designed for iPhone and requires iOS 17 or later. Simultaneous front and back camera capture needs an iPhone that supports multi-cam.

Can I change the layout after recording?

Yes. ViewMix records clean, separate camera tracks and applies the layout at preview time, so you can switch between picture-in-picture, split screen, and a single view — and swap which camera leads — without recording again. The final pixels are composited once, when you export.

What does ViewMix Pro unlock?

Pro unlocks every layout, enables up to 4K export, and removes the watermark. It is available as an optional monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I restore Pro?

Open ViewMix, go to Settings, tap the ViewMix Pro card, then tap Restore Purchases.

How do I manage refunds, cancellations, or subscription billing?

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your device, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then tap Subscriptions to manage or cancel. For refunds and billing help, use the purchase/subscription page in the App Store or Apple Support.

What should I include in a support email?

Please include your device model, iOS version, ViewMix app version, whether you use Pro, and a short description of the problem (a screen recording helps if you have one).
