This privacy policy explains how ViewMix handles user information.
1. Local-first recording data
ViewMix keeps your creative data on the device, including:
- Language, appearance, and recording preferences
- Projects, camera tracks (front and back), and microphone audio
- Layout and framing choices
- Dual-camera photos before export
ViewMix requires no account. Recording, preview compositing, and final export all happen on-device and work offline. Exported videos are saved to your own Photos library.
2. No tracking or advertising
ViewMix does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics trackers, or cross-app tracking. ViewMix does not sell or share personal data with third parties. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."
3. StoreKit and purchases
- ViewMix uses Apple StoreKit for optional in-app purchases: a Monthly ($2.99) or Yearly ($19.99) auto-renewable subscription, or a one-time Lifetime ($39.99) purchase.
- Billing, refunds, cancellation, and purchase history are handled by Apple.
- ViewMix stores a local entitlement cache on the device so it can show membership status quickly and restore access after relaunch.
- ViewMix reads only the entitlement status needed to unlock Pro. It cannot access your Apple ID password, payment methods, or your full Apple transaction history.
4. Device permissions
ViewMix uses the following device permissions, each for a clear on-device purpose:
- Camera — to capture the front and back cameras simultaneously. Camera frames are processed and recorded locally; they are not uploaded or transmitted.
- Microphone — to record audio alongside the video. Audio is captured and encoded on-device.
- Photos (add-only) — to save the composited MP4 (or dual photo) to your Photos library. ViewMix only writes files; it does not read or browse your existing photos.
ViewMix does not request location, contacts, health, Bluetooth, full Photos access, or background tracking permissions. There is no IDFA and no tracking.
5. Data deletion
You can delete the ViewMix app from your device to remove its local data. Apple platforms may retain purchase records for your Apple ID so purchases can be restored.
6. Children's privacy
ViewMix is a general-purpose creator tool and is not directed at children. The app requires no account, collects no personal information from anyone (including children), and contains no chat, public posting, user-generated content sharing, ads, or tracking.
