What it does

Give each paragraph of your script a time target. While you speak, the teleprompter keeps pace over the full-screen camera and a timer pill flags you the moment a paragraph runs long. After every take, a pacing report shows total and per-paragraph actual time against the script's targets, so the next take is tighter. Silence removal is free for everyone: TalkCam detects the pauses in your take, lists them for review, and applies every cut in one tap. Then finish in the editor — three lanes keep the job clear: Script (trim, split, reset, delete, transitions), Sound (volume, fades, noise reduction), and Visual (text stickers, logo, B-roll, beauty, eye contact, crop) — and export a finished MP4 to Photos.

What's different

Most talking-head apps stop at recording. TalkCam coaches the take itself: the timed script and the after-take pacing report turn "I rambled" into "paragraph three ran 40 seconds over", and one-tap silence removal replaces the timeline-scrubbing session that jump cuts usually need. The recording stays a clean camera + microphone MP4 — the teleprompter scroll and beauty preview help you perform but never enter the recorded pixels, and effects bake in only at export via an offline render pass. Front-camera mirroring is a capture/preview convenience only; the export uses the stored frames as-is without re-mirroring.

Built for privacy

TalkCam is local-first: no account, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no personal data collection. Scripts, recordings, media, projects, settings, and exports stay on your device, and exported videos are saved to your own Photos library. It supports English and Simplified Chinese and light/dark appearance.
