PresentCast is an iPhone and iPad app for casting presentations to a bigger screen. Import PDFs, photos, and videos, then cast them to a TV, projector, or Apple TV over AirPlay — or preview on the built-in Demo Display where your device acts as the screen. The free tier covers everyday casting; PresentCast Pro adds higher-quality output and workflow shortcuts. It is local-first: no account, no ads, no tracking.

What it does

Bring your PDF decks, photos, and videos into the library, then cast them with one tap. PresentCast turns your device into a presentation remote: swipe through PDF pages, play photo slideshows with adjustable timing, and play videos while the selected content appears on the big screen over AirPlay. No Apple TV on hand? The in-app Demo Display lets you rehearse by treating your device itself as the TV.

Core workflow

  • Import — add PDFs, photos, or videos from Files or Photos. Everything stays on your device.
  • Cast — open the system AirPlay route picker and pick a TV, projector, or Apple TV. The selected content appears on the big screen.
  • Present — use the on-device remote to advance pages, control slideshows, and play video while the audience watches the selected content on the TV.
  • Demo Display — no receiver nearby? Cast to the in-app Demo Display to preview exactly how it will look on a TV.
  • Pro upgrades — remember and auto-restore the last display, keep full recent history, save unlimited favorites, use Smart Fill, and cast in higher output resolutions (up to 2K/4K).

Why it's different

PresentCast focuses on one job — putting your content on the big screen, cleanly and quickly — using Apple's built-in AirPlay. There is no account to create, no cloud upload, and no analytics. Your files stay on your device; during an active session, only the selected presentation media needed for playback is made available to the receiver you choose.

Built for privacy

PresentCast is local-first: no account, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no collection of personal information. Imported files, render cache, and preferences stay on your device. The App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected." It is bilingual (English and Simplified Chinese) and works in light and dark appearance.

PresentCast Pro

The free tier lets you import and cast PDFs, photos, and videos, with the in-app Demo Display and a limited recent-files history. PresentCast Pro unlocks:

  • Remember and restore the last display — reconnect to the TV you used last, automatically.
  • Full recent history — keep more of the files you opened recently.
  • Unlimited favorites — save as many presentation files as you need.
  • Smart Fill — fit any screen aspect ratio without letterboxing guesswork.
  • Higher output resolutions — cast pages in up to 2K or 4K for sharper big-screen detail.
