About ScreenCam
ScreenCam is a local-first screen recorder for iPhone. It captures your screen, an optional facecam (your camera) overlay, and microphone narration — then trims and exports a finished video straight to your Photos library. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What it does
- Screen recording through Apple's standard broadcast, so you can record any app, tutorial, demo, or gameplay on your device.
- Facecam overlay — add your camera as a bubble on top of the screen, with adjustable shape, position, and size.
- Microphone narration — record your voice alongside the screen.
- Trim and export — cut your clip and export an MP4 to your Photos library.
- Local-first — recording, compositing, and export all happen on-device and work offline.
Free and Pro
- Free: record and export at up to 720p with a watermark and a shorter per-recording length.
- Pro: 1080p export with no watermark, a longer recording length, and additional facecam options. Available as a Monthly or Yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
Privacy
ScreenCam does not require an account, includes no advertising SDKs or third-party trackers, and never uploads your recordings. Camera, microphone, and Photos access are each used only for their on-device purpose. See the Privacy Policy.
