Welcome to ScreenCam. By downloading or using ScreenCam, you agree to these Terms of Service. The base terms below are the Apple Standard End-User License Agreement (EULA), and the remaining sections add ScreenCam-specific terms.

1. Apple Standard End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Your use of ScreenCam is governed by the Apple Standard EULA, available at:

https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

To the extent of any conflict between the Apple Standard EULA and these ScreenCam-specific terms, the Apple Standard EULA controls for matters covered by it.

2. Your account and content

ScreenCam is a screen-recording tool that helps you capture your device screen, an optional facecam (your camera), and microphone narration, then trim and export a video to your own Photos library.

  • ScreenCam does not require an account.
  • You are responsible for the content you record, edit, and export, and for ensuring you have the rights and consents to record any people, screens, audio, or copyrighted material that appears in your recordings.
  • ScreenCam cannot record content protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM); such areas may appear as a black frame. This is a platform limitation, not a defect.
  • Depending on the app being recorded and iOS version, system or in-app audio from the recorded app may not always be captured. This is a platform limitation.

3. Free and Pro tiers

  • The free tier lets you record and export at up to 720p with a watermark and a per-recording length cap.
  • Pro unlocks higher-quality 1080p export with no watermark, a longer recording length cap, and additional facecam options.
  • Pro is available as a Monthly or Yearly auto-renewable subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase, billed through Apple.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ScreenCam to record private, confidential, or copyrighted material without authorization, or to violate any law or the rights of others. You agree to inform participants when recording them.

5. Service availability

ScreenCam is provided "as is." We may update or change features, tiers, or limits over time. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app or from recordings that fail to capture due to platform DRM or audio limitations.
