About ScreenCam
ScreenCam is a local-first screen recorder and video editor for iPhone and iPad. It captures your screen with the recorded app's audio and your microphone narration, lets you add a facecam (your camera) after recording, then edit everything on a real timeline and export a watermark-free MP4 to Photos, Files, or the share sheet. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What it does
- Screen recording through Apple's standard broadcast, so you can record any app, tutorial, demo, or gameplay on your device.
- App audio + narration — capture the sound of the app you are recording and your microphone on separate tracks, each with its own volume.
- Facecam pass after recording — follow the playback once to record your face with the front or back camera, then reposition, resize, mirror, or re-record just the camera pass.
- Timeline editing — split, delete, and trim clips, add transitions, crop the canvas, choose the output aspect, and mix audio with fades — no re-recording needed.
- Clean export — save a watermark-free MP4 to your Photos library or the Files app, or share it directly.
- Local-first — recording, compositing, and export all happen on-device and work offline.

Privacy
