About ScreenCam
ScreenCam is a local-first screen-recording editor for iPhone and iPad. After capture, it helps you remove distracting edges, redirect attention, repair only the face or voice that needs another take, and hide private details before anyone sees the result. The primary output is a watermark-free MP4; a step-by-step visual PDF is available only when the handoff needs one. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What it does
- Crop and reframe — choose the output ratio, freely crop away irrelevant edges, and use black or blurred fill when the new frame leaves canvas space.
- Face or voice punch-in — select an exact range, follow only that playback, then record with the front/back camera plus narration or make a voice-only replacement. The screen action and every other clip stay unchanged.
- Precise focus zoom — choose 1.5×, 2×, or 3× and place the target directly on the full source frame. The outlined viewport matches the final export and moves into place smoothly.
- Sensitive-content blur — cover names, messages, accounts, IDs, or other private details with multiple movable regions. Each region can use blur, pixelation, or solid black and can appear for the whole clip or a chosen time window.
