MicroLLM ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MicroLLM on iOS.

1. Information We Handle

1.1 Local Project Content

  • Python files you create, fork, or edit in the app
  • Text datasets you import for on-device experiments
  • Generated outputs, runtime logs, metrics, and test results

1.2 App Preferences

  • Language selection
  • Course progress and local settings required for product behavior
  • Local entitlement preview state used for in-app plan simulation

1.3 Support Messages

If you contact us by email or Telegram, we handle the information you choose to send so we can respond.

2. How We Use Data

We use data only to provide app functionality, including:

  • Running mini-model experiments on your device
  • Displaying project state, progress, diagnostics, and course results
  • Exporting files only when you explicitly request export or sharing
  • Responding to user-requested support

3. Storage and Security

3.1 Local-first Architecture

  • MicroLLM stores project data locally in the app container by default.
  • Core learning and runtime features do not require a separate MicroLLM account.

3.2 No Automatic Cloud Upload

  • MicroLLM does not automatically upload your code, datasets, or project outputs to our servers.
  • The app does not fetch remote executable code to change its core functionality.

3.3 Security

  • Device-level protections such as passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and system encryption help secure local data.
  • We recommend keeping iOS and the app updated.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

MicroLLM does not use third-party ad SDKs for cross-app tracking.

Data may be processed by Apple services only when required for App Store billing, device backup behavior controlled by Apple, or other system-level functionality.

5. Your Controls

You can:

  • Edit or delete your projects in the app
  • Choose whether to export or share files
  • Remove local app data by uninstalling the app

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as product or legal requirements evolve. If we make updates, we will revise the "Last Updated" date.
