This Privacy Policy explains how FeelTemp handles user information. FeelTemp is designed to be local-first and privacy-first: it does not collect, upload, or share personal data.
1. No accounts, no tracking
- No account registration is required
- No advertising SDKs are included
- No analytics or tracking libraries are included
- FeelTemp does not collect personally identifiable information
2. What stays on your device
The following are stored only on your device (in the system's local preferences storage) and never leave it:
- Appearance, language, and theme choices
- Default wind mode, intensity, and sleep timer
- Whether onboarding has been completed
- A locally cached Pro status so the app works offline
These preferences can be cleared at any time by deleting the app.
3. Audio
- All wind sounds are synthesized in real time on your device. No audio recordings are downloaded, stored, or transmitted.
- Audio plays through your device's audio session. FeelTemp does not record audio and does not access the microphone.
4. StoreKit and purchases
- FeelTemp uses Apple's StoreKit 2 to offer a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase
- Purchase processing and billing are handled entirely by Apple
- FeelTemp only stores a local cache of whether the lifetime unlock is active
- FeelTemp does not have access to your Apple ID, payment method, or full transaction history
- If a purchase is refunded, the unlock is revoked automatically
5. Background playback
FeelTemp requests background audio so wind sounds can continue when the app is in the background or the screen is locked. This does not involve any data collection.
6. Children and family use
FeelTemp is suitable for general audiences. It does not require an account, contains no advertising, and does not collect personal data.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above.
