TalkCam is provided as an iPhone teleprompter camera and video editor for recording talking-head videos take by take — continuous recording in parts, script-based scenes, multiple takes per scene, a pacing report, and a multi-scene timeline — for personal and commercial creators. 1. App use
You may use TalkCam and its contents to create your own videos for personal, educational, or commercial creator purposes. You are responsible for the content you record and for ensuring that you have the rights to any people, audio, or material captured. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, resell, or misuse the app or its assets.
2. Local data and projects
TalkCam stores local preferences, projects, scenes and takes, camera video, audio, scripts, imported media, and effect settings on your device; scripts are split on device and are not uploaded to a TalkCam backend. Deleting the app or erasing device data may result in the loss of local data; export and keep copies of your videos if you wish to preserve them.
3. Optional purchases
TalkCam may offer optional Pro in-app purchases: a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. Refunds, cancellations, billing issues, and purchase account management are handled by Apple.
4. Free and Pro features
The free tier includes continuous recording, split-script recording with the on-device splitter, multiple scenes and takes, timeline preview, the teleprompter, text and logo layers, core editing (trim, split, delete, transitions, volume), and 480p/720p/1080p, 30 fps, SDR, compact or standard bitrate export, with takes up to 60 minutes. Pro unlocks 2K/4K, 50/60 fps, HDR, high-bitrate export, unlimited take length, supplemental footage (B-roll), image stickers, noise reduction, audio fades, and gaze correction.
5. Recording accuracy and content responsibility
TalkCam uses on-device AVFoundation processing to capture media and an offline render pass to bake in effects. The scripted paragraph timing report estimates pace from teleprompter reading-position crossings and recording time; it does not transcribe or verify spoken words. Review the report and exported video before relying on or publishing them. The app does not verify the legality, accuracy, or ownership of the content you create.
6. Availability
Features may change as the app improves. We aim to preserve purchased Pro access for the Apple ID that made the purchase, subject to Apple platform behavior and StoreKit availability.
